The dates below are simply when your hire starts and ends. You do not need to travel anywhere to pick the equipment up.

  • Free delivery anywhere in Tenerife — your hotel, apartment, villa or a private address, north or south. You tell us the address at the payment step, and at the end we collect it from the same place or from any other address in Tenerife, free of charge.
  • Meeting you at the airport? Tenerife South (TFS) or Tenerife North (TFN), for €25 each way. You can also choose a different place for us to collect it at the end.
  • Prefer to collect it yourself? You can, free of charge, from Av. de los Chincanayros 37, Icod de los Vinos. Choose that option at the payment step.

The Teyder Rambla is the dependable, uncomplicated choice for a holiday in the south of Tenerife. Built from robust folding steel with quick-release rear wheels, it needs no charging, works everywhere, and folds down for a taxi boot in moments. Whether you will be self-propelling along the flat seafront promenade or being pushed by a companion, a hired Rambla means the right chair is waiting at your accommodation — with no risk of your own chair being damaged in the aircraft hold.

It comes in four seat widths (41–47 cm), so we bring the size that actually fits. Tell us the user's height and weight when you book and we set it up before we hand it over.

We deliver free to your hotel, apartment, villa or private address anywhere in Tenerife — most bookings go to Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas and Costa Adeje, but the whole island costs the same: nothing — or meet you at Tenerife South (TFS) or Tenerife North (TFN) airport for €25 each way (€25 for the handover, and €25 more if we also collect it there) so the chair is ready the moment you land. At the end of your stay we collect it from the same place, or from a different address if you tell us when you book. You can also collect it from us in Icod de los Vinos at no charge.

Manual wheelchair hire FAQs

Can one person push it and can I also self-propel?

Both. The Rambla has hand rims on the large rear wheels for self-propelling and push handles for a companion, so you can switch depending on the day and the terrain.

Will it fold into a taxi?

Yes. The frame folds down and the rear wheels detach with a quick-release mechanism, so it fits into a standard taxi or hire-car boot for excursions across the island.

How do you know it will fit me?

Tell us the user's height and weight when you book. The Rambla comes in four seat widths (41–47 cm) and we bring the one that matches, with the footrests set up. We check the fit together at handover.
